In Osterspai, people love the "Narrow Gate." This does not indicate specific spatial conditions in the old town center, but rather solves the mystery with a green, protruding sandbank that provides undisturbed recreational pleasure in the summer, flowing downstream on the Rhine.

The fine Rhine sand from Osterspai, also known as "Osterspaier Ritt," invites you to sunbathe. In the cool water, your legs find refreshment, while at another spot, an angler waits for his luck, which the cormorant often claims successfully before him.

The small summer resort at the gates of the village is also frequented by a number of wild geese, who like to stop here time and again. Those who drive by will at least stop at the stalls offering fresh fruit, usually local apples, pears, cherries, and plums, which find customers here alongside wines and juices.
