The Neuweg Gate is a part of the hillside fortification from the 13th and 14th centuries.
The course of the medieval ring wall can be traced here, even though the neighboring gates are no longer preserved. The gate is located on the Neuweg. The wall embrasures and thus the location of the former front moat can be seen from the neighboring garden. The former upper floor with the staircase is no longer preserved.
