Therapy centre in Vettelschoß Today's therapy centre for physiotherapy and massage was founded in 1987 in the former business premises of the Elektro Manns company as a medical massage and bathing practice. Medical chiropody, a practice for natural cosmetics and a tanning salon were also attached to the centre. The various health reforms in the 21 years since the practice was founded, as well as necessary economic considerations, have repeatedly led to changes and adjustments in the various areas of operation. For example, the swimming pool business was partially discontinued in 1992 and completely discontinued in 2007, natural cosmetics and the tanning salon were closed in 1993 and the space that had become available was equipped with rehabilitation training equipment. Between 1993 and 2000, numerous courses in spinal gymnastics were held here as group treatment, as well as muscle-building programmes as individual treatment for patients following accidents or sports injuries. The practice owner's additional qualifications in sports physiotherapy and medical training therapy made it possible to expand the range of therapies on offer. In 2005, the range of therapies on offer was expanded to include physiotherapy in order to meet the ever-increasing demand for exercise therapy.
