R(h)ein-Blick Kestert
Dolkstr. 19, 56346 St. Goarshausen
The Rhine is the identity-giver and namesake for the World Heritage Site. Its banks are prominent points of attraction for residents as well as guests. Within the settlements, the banks therefore deserve special attention. Particularly because a wide variety of requirements meet here: Flood protection, quality of stay, leisure activities, townscape design, traffic facilities, structures for navigation, art and ecology. The project R(h)ein-Blicke, developed from the cultural landscape development concept (KLEK), is intended to contribute to the development of special recreational spaces of diversity and beauty outside of the settlement structure. The locations of the R(h)ein-Blicke invite both residents and visitors to pause for a moment to experience this unique cultural landscape in all its fascination up close.
