The town museum is located in the immediate vicinity of the town hall in the building of the former fire station. It is divided into the following departments:
- Collection of geological finds, fossils, plant and animal remains as well as human implements from the Kärlich clay pit. The artefacts are up to one million years old.
- Collection of archaeological finds from the Early Stone Age to the Frankish period,
- Collection of old maps and pictures
- especially from the 18th century - as well as former utensils,
- Evidence of religiosity and popular piety - 18th to 20th century,
- Local history in stone monuments: grave crosses and boundary stones,
- Equipment of a school class - until approx. 1955
