The Heinz Nikolai winery is a renowned winery in the Rheingau and is as much a part of Erbach as Riesling is to the Rheingau: “Our goal is to continue filling this tradition with new content and to dynamically pursue our path.”
Founded in 1824, it has been owned by the Nikolai family, who are dedicated to producing top-quality wines. The winery manages a total of 16 hectares of vineyards in the best locations of the Rheingau, including the Erbacher Siegelsberg, Erbacher Steinmorgen, as well as Hallgartener Jungfer and Hallgartener Schönhell. The main varieties cultivated are Riesling and Spätburgunder, but Goldmuskateller, Weißburgunder, and Sauvignon Blanc also complement the selection.
