What does a committed young winemaker do when he has learned enough and gained experience? He takes over the vineyard from his parents and enters the Rheingau wine elite full of enthusiasm. 

In the heart of the Rheingau, specifically in Eltville-Erbach, lies the CRASS winery. For many generations, the family has been engaged in viticulture, and since 2014 Matthias Craß has taken over the management. And he has already made several changes: The operation moved to a larger estate in the neighborhood. Here, and in the newly built wine shop, people meet not only for wine tastings: Since mid-2016, the winery has been operating a estate restaurant in the historic premises and the beautiful garden of the estate.
