In an ever-changing world full of limitations, the feeling of freedom is becoming increasingly desirable. To the founder of the winery freedom symbolizes sustainability and balance with nature. Growing up as a child in a wine region, he went on to work as a journalist and became an investment banker after which he established several companies.
The winery founded in 2010 allows the owner to live out his definition of freedom. The partially over 40 year old vineyards in the Rheingau area are managed sustainably. Various locations provide Riesling grapes for the wines and old varieties have been recultivated. On the famous Assmannshäuser Höllenberg grow grapes for the production of the pinot noir.
