NEO Choir Academy concert at the Sayner Hütte

The Sayner Hütte is starting the new year musically and welcomes the NEO Choir Academy to the heated Krupp Hall on 5 January at 5 pm. Works by Meinhard Ansohn, Eric Whitacre, Robert Schumann, Orlando Gibbons, Rudolf Mauersberger, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Franz Biebl will be performed. The conductor, choirmaster and composer Julian Mörth from Mainz will be at the helm of this project. His world premieres include ‘Morgenlied’ and ‘Lullaby for the Earth’. The NEO Choir Academy brings together a select group of singers aged 13 and over and a dedicated team of teachers several times a year. In a concentrated work phase, a high-profile concert programme is developed and performed under changing musical direction. All those responsible work on a voluntary basis. The concert is free of charge; donations are welcome in order to minimise the costs for the participants.
