Description of the tour: Participants will learn a lot of interesting information about the history of flooding in Neuwied and the necessity of the dike, about hydraulic engineering on the Rhine, and about the functioning of the pumping stations. A visit to the dike information center is followed by a walk along the dike wall and a section along the earth dike.
