The Musical-AG of the Wilhelm-Remy-Gymnasium presents ‘Löwenherz - Leonie und das magische Amulett’, the result of intensive rehearsals. The musical will be performed on Wed., 05.02.25 and Thu., 06.02.25 at 7 pm in the Krupp'schen Halle, Bendorf Sayn (In der Sayner Hütte 1). Almost 30 actors from a wide range of class levels will be performing. There will also be an inter-grade band, which will provide instrumental accompaniment to the songs, as well as several stage designers who have put a lot of detailed thought into creating suitable stage sets and costumes. In total, children from Year 5 to Year 12 perform together in this cross-class project.

‘Does the world often seem like a big gate to you? Are you often afraid to just go on?’ This line from this year's musical reflects the feelings of Leonie, who has found shelter with her father in a hut in the dark forest, pursued by soldiers. With the help of a magical amulet, she manages to escape from her pursuers, but at the same time she also takes an unplanned journey through time - suddenly she finds herself in a completely different environment, far away from her father in a completely new time. Leonie is torn and tries to get a grip on her feelings and her own fear...
