Rommersdorf Festspiele "Anders - Pre-Show von 'So kurz davor'"
Stiftsstraße 2, 56566 Neuwied
They are Germany's A-Cappella German poets. Their style: Catchy melodies and intelligent lyrics. Anders writes smart pop songs in German that take the form of A-cappella seriously and are more than just instrumental imitations of current chart hits or nostalgic songs about the flora on the balcony. They enthrall their audience not only at their own concerts but also as opening acts for bands like Revolverheld or Thees Uhlmann. ANDERS are the winners of the St. Ingbert Pan 2020 (Audience Award & Special Prize from the Minister of Culture), the Vokal.total Festival Graz 2019 (1st Prize in the POP category), and the SoLaLa ACappella Festival Solingen 2019 (Jury Prize & Audience Prize). In 2019, ANDERS was awarded the CARA Award as the best European A-Cappella Album in the USA for their album "Viel Lärm um dich." They also won 1st Prize at the Aarhus Vocal Festival 2024 and were honored with the Promotion Award of the Baden-Württemberg Small Arts Prize 2024.
So close to it
Who doesn't know them? Those moments when your pulse races and your heart races. Daring the first kiss? Jumping off the 10-meter board? Telling your boss what you really think? Speaking uncomfortable truths? In short: Moments when everything is at stake. With their new program "So kurz davor," the five singers go all out and sing about life in all its facets in their own poetic way: Humorously, melancholically, philosophically questioning, and self-confidently. Anders presents a spectacular A-cappella show with an unmistakable pop sound, authentic songs, and a closeness to the audience that is hard to match. The program title "So kurz davor" should be understood less as a self-description and more as a promise. With "So kurz davor," the Freiburg formation once again demonstrates that they can already hold their own against the big names in the scene.
