Christmas - the festival of love and harmony, of promises and festive togetherness. Christmas Eve is also in full swing for two Parisian families. But instead of cosy peace and quiet and a cosy get-together, Christmas Eve gradually turns into the spectre of bourgeois harmony. The venue is the balconies at home. But as 6 actors are missing, the remaining 6 have to take on all 12 roles on both neighbouring balconies...
