In early September 1814, Goethe was a guest of Antonia and Franz von Brentano, who invited him to their summer residence. There he enjoyed the Rhine Valley landscape and the Rhine wine. Together with the Brentanos, Goethe visited various sights in the nearby area and subsequently wrote the text "Autumn Days in Rheingau," in which he describes his experiences. These are the focus of the tour.
