Weihnachtlicher Vortrag
In der Sayner Hütte 4, 56170 Bendorf-Sayn
Martin Seidler brings along contemplative Christmas poems by Ringelnatz, Goethe and other great poets. There will also be amusing stories (Robert Gernhardt sends his regards) and a bit of humour. But above all, it will be very pre-Christmas ... Look forward to pure pre-Christmas enjoyment when the bells ring and the snow softly trickles in the Krupp Hall of the Sayner Hütte. A real feast for the ears - and for the heart and soul! 100% of all proceeds are donated to children suffering from cancer, needy children and children in need in Rhineland-Palatinate. How do great German poets perceive the seasons? Martin Seidler and Volker Höh provide the answer with this unique programme. The poems they have personally selected are impressively accompanied by Volker Höh, one of Germany's most versatile and interesting guitarists! His selection of classical guitar literature gives the poems a unique musical framework - whether a tango for Ringelnatz or a Bach prelude for Hermann Hesse. Enjoy this harmonious journey through the year! Volker Höh is one of the most renowned German guitarists. As a soloist, with orchestras and in chamber music ensembles, he is at home on international concert and festival stages - also as a cultural ambassador for the Goethe Institute! www.volker-hoeh.de Martin Seidler is one of the best-known faces on SWR television. In his free time, he likes to immerse himself in the world of poetry. In addition to Kästner's 13 Months, he has already set ‘Cloak, Sword and Pen’, literary parodies of St Martin by Ulrich Harbecke, to music and has also recorded a story by Cornelia Funke as an audio book, ‘Elwetritsch - Helfer in der Not’. Tickets for €18 can be booked via the Sayner Hütte Visitor Centre: Tel.: 02622 - 98 49 550 or mail info@saynerhuette.org (please be sure to include your contact details!)
