Description of the tour:

Many know how beautiful the Rhine and its shores are. But let's be honest – does that knowledge extend across to the other side of the river or only to right in front of one's own doorstep? This is exactly what the four Rhine municipalities of Weißenthurm, Leutesdorf, Andernach, and Neuwied suspected years ago and decided to join forces to create a WLAN partnership. Their goal is to jointly showcase the beauties to residents and visitors, and this year it will be done in a sporty way. The WLAN partnership offers four cycling tours in 2019.

The special feature: The route and thus the starting point vary each time. The starting point of each tour is also the theme of the day, which will be discussed in more detail by the knowledgeable cycling guide Gerhard Petry during his introduction. From there, the tour will proceed counterclockwise through all four WLAN municipalities.

Petry will introduce all locations with entertaining background stories and little anecdotes.
Even locals are bound to learn something new. With all stops included, each tour lasts about 4.5 hours and is suitable for untrained individuals as well.
Participants must bring their own food and bicycles, and wearing a helmet is mandatory. Unfortunately, participation from younger children is not possible.
