Description of the tour:

Many people know how beautiful the Rhine and its banks are. But let's be honest – does that knowledge reach all the way to the other side of the river or just to their own doorstep? This is exactly what the four Rhine municipalities of Weißenthurm, Leutesdorf, Andernach, and Neuwied suspected years ago and have joined together for a WLAN cooperation. Their aim is to show residents and visitors their beauties together, and this year it will be done in a sporty way. The WLAN cooperation is offering four bike tours in 2019.

The special thing: The route and thus the starting point vary each time. The starting point of each tour is also the focus of the day and will be discussed in more detail by the competent bike guide Gerhard Petry. From here, the tour goes counterclockwise through all four WLAN municipalities.

Entertaining and with many background stories and small anecdotes, Petry will introduce all the places.
Even locals are likely to learn something new. With all the stops, each tour lasts about 4.5 hours and is also suitable for the untrained.
Food and bicycles must be brought along, and there is a helmet requirement. Unfortunately, participation by younger children is not possible.
